At this time of year, we often look for something entertaining and fun to make for the holidays. If you want to use your creativity, why not pick up a Compliments Gingerbread House Kit. They are a lot of fun to build and even more fun to decorate. I had the pleasure of going to the Sobeys Holiday Luncheon where there was a friendly competition to create a house with the decorating items provided. As an honored judge I got to see dozens of creative interpretations of gingerbread houses from a completely flat house to a pirate themed one. A good time was had by all!!
My very own Culinary team, Sasha and Alexandra, also got inspired and built a gingerbread house for me to take to the luncheon. The project started out with lots of laughter and fun but turned very serious when they found out that it was to be on display and a prize for someone to take home. Then the creative juices started to flow, it is quite amazing to see two people working together, sharing ideas and creating. Pictured here is the fruit of their labour right down to a shopping cart filled with Sobeys products. Thank you, Sasha and Alexandra, for making me look good in front of my new colleagues.
